This past weekend, the 81st edition of the Viška Regata took place along the classic route Split → Vis → Split, from 17 to 19 October 2025. Once again, the event confirmed its status as one of Croatia’s most prestigious offshore sailing competitions.

• More than 170 sailing yachts and over 1,000 sailors participated in this year’s regatta.
• The race started from Split harbour on Friday morning under light Levant conditions that later shifted to a moderate Jugo, testing crews’ tactical skills across the Adriatic.
• On Saturday, participants enjoyed a coastal regatta in Vis Bay, local island product fairs, cultural events and authentic island hospitality.
• The return leg to Split took place on Sunday, with a festive closing ceremony held at the JK Labud Yacht Club.
